The capabilities of your house

To do this, you first need to know who will be present on GVG day. There are several options:
- Verbally: in the case of a small house, this can work quite well, but it quickly reaches its limits as the house grows.
- Second option: in writing, in the form of paper notes or even through polling tools or online spreadsheets.

Personally, in the various houses I have been part of, polls or votes have proven to be the most effective and allow some flexibility when dealing with unexpected situations.

Available units

Now that the question of who will be present has been resolved, it is important to know your members’ units as well as their affinity with them.
Once again, there are several possibilities:
You can simply learn everyone’s units by discussing with them, but let’s assume that the person in charge of organizing groups is not available for a GVG. The replacement, who does not have the same information, risks taking more time or even making mistakes.
If you want to seriously invest in GVGs, I recommend creating a shared document with your members in which you list, in table form, each player’s units, their levels, their affinities, and any information you consider important.

Leaders

An additional and very important concept: leaders.
Generally speaking, these are the players who will give instructions during battle. This is often what makes the difference between a good house and a winning one.
There is nothing worse in battle than having 10 players giving instructions at the same time, completely disorganizing the attack or defense.

les leaders conquerors blade denetax

It is therefore very important to appoint different leaders in order to give them priority on calls.
And I do mean priority, because if a non-leader member spots a rear charge, for example, they obviously still need to call it out.
We now know who is coming, we know everyone’s units, and we know who will give instructions during the battle, but something is still missing: available artillery.

Artillery

Indeed, the artillery available to your members is very important.
Typically, if most members of your house only have access to green artillery, you will not have the same possibilities as if most members can deploy purple or even legendary artillery.
In this case, it is not necessary to create a shared table. You can simply give instructions during a debrief, for example. After that, it’s up to you if you think it’s worth going further.

Reputation

Another important piece of information is the available reputation. It allows your house to declare wars, place outposts and forward camps in the open world, which in turn grant access to certain features.

postes avancés conquerors blade denetax

We will come back to the features of forward camps and outposts a bit later in this tutorial.
To obtain reputation, members of your house will need to complete fief quests, which are logically available on the various fiefs in each region.

quête de fief conquerors blade denetax

A small tip: if you complete your fief quests on fiefs owned by your house, you will receive bonus reputation.
You can also earn reputation through daily quests and weekly quests.

Your house level

Your house level is also an important factor.
The higher its level, the more fiefs you will be able to attack. Why? Because fiefs have a minimum level requirement to be attacked.
This level can be checked by clicking on the fief.

Your fiefs

The last thing to take into account is your fiefs.
Indeed, the fiefs you own are a potential asset that should not be overlooked.
During GVGs, they can allow your troops to resupply, heal, or even block access points.
Outside of GVGs, if your city-type fiefs have reached a certain level, they will allow your members to craft specific artillery.

We have now covered the internal resources of the house, but you also need to take your environment into account.

Your house environment

Information about our allies

The first thing to consider if you have an alliance is: who are our allies? What objectives are they pursuing? How many members do they have?
Can they help us in a potential attack or defense? Should we help them? Etc.
To answer all these questions, meetings are generally organized with house leaders and their officers in order to reach an agreement.
Communication in Conqueror's Blade is very important.

Information about our enemies

Second thing to take into account: what are your enemies going to do? This is more difficult, but you can sometimes deduce it yourself, alone or with your allies.
To do so, information sharing, communication with other houses that are not enemies of the houses in question, season objectives, and scouting enemy movements in the open world are all potential sources of useful information to create and adapt your GVG plan.
Now that we have covered most of the information related to your house and its environment, we still need to have a good understanding of GVG mechanics.

GVG mechanics

Schedules

- 7:30 PM – start of resource / port / trading post captures in order to gain regional influence. We will come back to this concept of influence a bit later.
- 8:00 PM – start of fief attacks (village, city, fort, etc.)
- 9:00 PM – end of the possibility to attack fiefs (however, battles already started will continue)
- 9:30 PM – end of the GVG.

Influence

First of all, let’s define the different types of influence.

Global influence

Global influence, usually shortened to simply influence, is defined by adding together all the fiefs owned by a house across all regions.
The type of fief as well as its level affect the amount of influence it provides.
Additionally, depending on the season, some regions may grant more influence. You will therefore need to pay attention to announcements and take them into account in your battle plans.
Let’s take an example to better understand global influence. Suppose your house owns a level 3 city and a level 1 village in Ungveridja, as well as a level 6 city and a level 2 village in The March.
We would therefore have:
- 600 influence for the level 3 city in Ungveridja
- 150 influence for the level 1 village in Ungveridja
- 1050 influence for the level 6 city in The March
- and 200 influence for the level 2 village in The March

Which gives a total of 2000 global influence for your house.
What is this used for? It can be important in certain seasons where a minimum amount of global influence is required before being able to attack the seasonal objective.

This influence is also what allows you to obtain season rewards. Naturally, the more influence you have, the more rewards you will receive.

Regional influence

Regional influence is defined by all the fiefs owned by a house within a given region.
influence régionale conquerors blade denetax

Using the previous example, we can say that the house has a regional influence of 1250 in The March and a regional influence of 750 in Ungveridja.
*Rixmome* You know what’s simpler?
Oh yeah?
Well, you just go to F5, then Campaign, and you’ll see all the regional influences

influence régionale F5 conquerors blade denetax

Oh yeah, not bad.
*Rixmome* And don’t say thanks, especially not!
Uh… thanks…
*cough* Some seasons specifically require regional influence to attack the seasonal objective.
This was notably the case in season 5 to attack Reginopolis.

Local influence

Before starting, a few definitions.
By sub-fief, we mean the structures surrounding a fief, such as resource sites, ports, and trading posts.
By territory, we mean the different subdivisions of a region.
With that clarified, we can continue.
Local influence is defined by all the sub-fiefs owned by a house within a territory.

influence locale F5 conquerors blade denetax

Having the highest local influence, combined with a declaration of war, allows a house to become the ruling house.
*Kharlo* But what is a ruling house?

Ruling house

The ruling house status grants exclusive attack rights in the case of standard fiefs (village / city / fort) as long as your house leads in local influence.
Of course, you do not keep the ruling house status if you later manage to capture the fief. It will automatically be transferred to the next house with the highest local influence.

maison régnantes fief conquerors blade denetax

There are specific cases regarding ruling houses for seasonal objectives. A ranking is established based on the regional influence of the different houses.
The first house will be able to launch the first attack, then it will be the second house’s turn, and if time allows, the third house on the list will attack.

Declaration of war

Let’s briefly return to the second component: the declaration of war.
Sometimes forgotten, the declaration of war is very important because it is required to obtain ruling house status.
Declaring war on a fief costs a certain amount of reputation, which depends on the type of fief and its level.
To declare a war, simply click on the targeted fief, declare war, enter a message if you wish,
set the declaration date, configure who can join, and then click declare war.
Small tip: the earlier the war is declared before the next GVG, the less reputation it will cost.

Let’s return to the main topic, which I remind you is local influence.

Constructible buildings

There is another way to gain local influence: constructible buildings.

First building: Outposts

Limited to one outpost per territory, this building grants 500 points of local influence
.It can therefore allow your house to take the lead in local influence even if you do not control the sub-fiefs. Its construction costs 2000 reputation.

Second building: Forward camps.

Here, there is no construction limit as long as you have enough reputation. Building a single forward camp costs 1000 reputation.
Forward camps allow you to resupply, heal units, and create standard artillery such as cannons or culverins using silver, as well as specific artillery including siege towers, trebuchets, and battering rams. Each camp also grants 50 points of local influence in the territory where it is built, limited to one camp per territory.
Important information: both buildings take 5 minutes to construct and can be attacked while under construction.
Be careful: if the enemy captures your forward camp or outpost, it will simply be destroyed and you will lose the influence it provided.

Ports

A new feature introduced in season 5, ports allow sea travel and are therefore strategic.
There are two types of ports.
- Trade ports usable during GVGs
- Fishing ports disabled during GVGs.
port conquerors blade denetax

At the start of GVGs, the trade port belongs to the fief to which it is attached. It is therefore the house that owns the fief that can decide whether enemy / neutral / allied players can use it.
If another house later takes control of the port, it will be able to use it and determine who is allowed to pass through it.
Small piece of information: if you capture the fief to which the port is associated, you do not gain control of the port. You will therefore need to go and recapture it if you want to use it.
Be careful: when you take to the sea aboard a fishing boat, you have a chance of losing part of your cargo as well as injuring your troops.

Rotation

During a fief attack, the term rotation refers to all players waiting in the queue.
These players will join the battlefield once their allies have died.
Generally, during serious attacks, it is necessary to have at least 25 players in order to maintain a rotation of 10 players. This concept must therefore be taken into account when creating your attack plans.
*Rixmome* Uh, how did you see the number of people waiting?
Well, I just used my mouse wheel while placing my cursor over it
Rixmome* O_o damn

Supply

Sometimes forgotten, supply is very important. If you accidentally run out of supplies, you will no longer be able to pursue enemies, join battles, or gather resources.

Unit speed

In the open world, each unit has its own movement speed value. This notion is particularly important if you are planning attacks on distant territories or interceptions.
In addition, in season 6 a new mechanic appeared: freezing.
If you move off the roads in the open world, you will receive a movement speed penalty.
To remove this penalty, you can use winter beers. It can therefore be useful to plan a stock before GVGs in order to be more mobile.

Post-battle timer

After each battle, whether won or lost, the targeted fief benefits from a timer during which it cannot be attacked.
This timer is 10 minutes in the event of an attacker victory (the fief therefore changes owner) or 5 minutes in the event of a defeat (the fief remains with the house that owned it before the battle).
Keeping this timer in mind is therefore very important, for example to secure a fief at the end of a GVG.

Ruined fiefs

A feature added in season 6, ruined fiefs must logically be rebuilt before a house can claim control of them.
To rebuild a ruined fief, you will need to complete fief quests on the targeted fief, which will progress the reconstruction bar.
Once the bar is filled, the fief is fully rebuilt and the house that contributed the most gains control of it. In addition to acquiring the fief, the 5 houses that contributed the most will gain regional influence.
- 1st house → 250 regional influence points
- 2nd house → 200 regional influence points
- 3rd house → 150 regional influence points
- 4th house → 100 regional influence points
- 5th house → 50 regional influence points

The reconstruction of fiefs will take place during phase 3, which will run from January 4 to February 1, 2021.

This is already the end of this article, I hope you enjoyed it. Don’t forget to leave a thumbs up if you liked it, and if you want to follow the channel, subscribe! I remind you that you can use the code ZYX515 to gain access to a few in-game advantages for new players, or ZYL515 for players who haven’t launched the game for 1 month.
