Hi my zoulous and welcome to this new article.
In this article, we are going to explain the boat system, which can notably be found in Antadolia, and we will cover all the details you need to know.
Boat usefulness
So first of all, what are boats used for? Boats allow you to travel, especially in Antadolia, the southernmost territory in the world of Conqueror’s Blade at the time I am writing this article.
How to take a boat
Taking a boat is very simple. You just need to go to a port and select your destination port.
*Aleil* You say it’s very simple, but a lot of goats get it wrong. Could you be more precise?
Well, this article is here precisely to explain everything in detail and avoid this from happening again.
Alright, let’s continue. Some ports that are far from your departure port will not be reachable directly; you will need to take a connection before reaching your final destination.
Direct routes are displayed with a solid line, and routes that require one or more connections are displayed with a dotted line.
*Rixmome* uhhhh yeah… wouldn’t you have an example?
Of course! Let’s say I am in Reginopolis and I want to travel by boat to Scythias. Well, I would first go to the port of Perbyla, which has a direct line with Reginopolis.
Then I would need to go to the Tranquil Port. And finally to the port of Hygea, which is next to Scythias.
Be careful: all trade ports are linked to a city. The owner of the city can, if they wish, close the port to prevent enemies—or even all houses—from accessing it. The only exception is the port of Reginopolis, which is always open.
To know whether a port is usable or not, simply click on it on the world map and check whether navigation and docking are allowed. You can also see this information in the travel interface.
As you might expect, controlling ports is therefore strategically very important in Antadolia.
Another important point: during GvG, you will not be able to depart from a fishing port, as they are closed. However, using a trade port to travel to a fishing port is allowed. (To be verified whether this is only via Regino).
Damage incidents
This point can also be important. If you travel from a fishing port to another fishing port or even to a trade port, for example to prepare for a GvG, you may lose part of your cargo or even
cause injuries to your units. (These events trigger once you arrive at the destination port, in the form of a message indicating a mishap during the journey).
- 1st incident: Epidemic on the ship: your units are damaged.
- 2nd incident: Loss of supplies: you have lost part of your cargo.
- 3rd incident: Rough voyage: your units are damaged and you have lost part of your cargo.
Additional information: even while traveling by boat, you will consume rations. Be careful to disable forced march, as you will not travel any faster anyway. However, if you disembark without rations, you will be limited in the actions you can perform. This is already the end of this article. I hope you enjoyed it.
