Hello my zoulous, and welcome to this second part of the video on tips in Conqueror's Blade!
This time, we will cover tips for battles, the open world, and some general tips.

First part: tips during battles.

Tip #1: focus enemy heroes

Indeed, in some situations it is wiser to focus the enemy hero rather than the units accompanying them, simply because once the hero is dead, units can no longer be properly controlled and can no longer use their abilities.

Tip #2: pay attention to your stamina

Whether for your horse or your character, always keep an eye on your stamina. If it is completely depleted, you will enter an exhausted state, which results in no stamina regeneration for a short period of time. Therefore, always try to keep a minimum amount of stamina.

Tip #3: artillery aiming markers

When firing artillery, try to focus on a reference point in order to memorize and adjust your shots.

*troll voice* HUUUU I don’t have time to adjust, the guy in front of me is a cheater.
Well no, the person in front of you is not a cheater. They simply have enough experience to know the markers and hit the target almost every time. Train, and you’ll see that you’ll be able to do the same soon.

Tip #4: respawn time

You may have noticed that the more you die in a battle, the longer your respawn time becomes. This concept is very important for both you and your enemies. Try not to sacrifice yourself just to kill a few low-tier units, and instead focus on killing enemy heroes so they are weakened in the late game and cannot launch strong pushes quickly.

Tip #5: blocking gate closures

As an attacker, you can prevent a gate from closing simply by staying in the white zone where the gate is located. This information can be crucial, especially if the enemy performs a sortie, allowing you to infiltrate and potentially capture a point more easily.

Tip #6: use angled formations for ranged units or cavalry

Sometimes fights take place in narrow streets, which makes certain formations less effective. However, nothing prevents you from placing the same formation at an angle rather than facing the enemy directly. This allows more of your units to shoot or reach the target.

Tip #7: unit control after death

Unfortunately, your hero is dead and your unit is charging the enemy with no chance of winning. To avoid losing the entire unit, you can send them to an allied hero by switching to spectator view on that hero and pressing C.

Tip #8: reducing fire damage

When your hero takes fire damage, you can reduce it simply by performing a dodge roll.

Tips for the open world

Open-world tip #1 (used especially during GvG): camouflage in fiefs

To avoid being intercepted during fief wars, you can camouflage yourself. To do this, click somewhere in the distance, and once your hero is inside the fief, click on it to immobilize yourself. In this state, you cannot be selected and therefore cannot be intercepted. Be careful: this trick works very well for outposts and forts where passage is allowed, but is more difficult or even impossible for city- or village-type fiefs.

Open-world tip #2: mass harvesting

You probably know that the units best suited for gathering resources are peasants. *other voice* I didn’t know that (well, in that case, you can go check out my video on the subject).

Back to our peasants: their main drawback is that they have average movement speed. To gather and return resources faster, you can go to a resource site, harvest up to three times your wagon’s capacity (resource piles will appear on the map), pick up one pile, and bring it back to your camp. *troll voice* I don’t see how this is different from what I usually do.

It’s simple: once you’re there, swap your peasant units for cavalry units to save time on the trip there (of course, the return trip will still be slow since your wagon is loaded, but you’ll still save some time). Also note that not all cavalry units have the same speed—prefer steppe cavalry units over templars, for example.

Open-world tip #3: repatriation

There is a rarely used but very useful option called repatriation. What is it for? It allows you to teleport directly to the capital where your camp is located, or directly to your camp. To do this, you must have repatriation orders and an empty wagon. To activate repatriation, simply click on the “repatriation” icon at the bottom of your screen and select your destination. Note that each day you are allowed one free teleport without using a requisition order.

This free teleport recharges every 24 hours.

Open-world tip #4: stacking identical artillery

Here is some potentially important information regarding artillery transport. If you do not have duplicate artillery in your wagon, you cannot lose any during an enemy interception. On the other hand, if you are transporting five purple mortars and lose an interception, you have a high chance of losing part of your cargo. A good practice is therefore to vary your artillery: one purple mortar, one purple cannon, one purple culverin, etc., to avoid unnecessarily losing artillery.

General tips

We’ve talked about tips for battles and the open world, so now let’s move on to more general topics.

Shift-click

First potentially useful tip: shift-click.
If you shift-click on a player’s name in chat, you will obtain information such as the player’s house, level, and region. This information can be useful for recruitment purposes or political relations.

Managing your storage

Second tip: storage management.
Your storage is always full and some resources are useless to you. Don’t panic—there are solutions.
Of course, you can sell them at the auction house (if you don’t really want to sell them, list them at the maximum price; if you want to get rid of them, list them at the minimum price).

Second option: convert your resources into crafted materials. To do this, visit the refiner, select for example limestone, and convert it into cut stone. By doing this, you will save a lot of space (of course, you won’t be able to convert them back afterward, so try to choose crafted materials that are useful for your needs, such as unit kits or artillery).

Third option: you can expand your storage by purchasing an upgrade from the trader.

Harvesting experience

If you want to progress quickly in your harvesting technologies, I recommend focusing on a single branch to obtain the final perk that doubles rare material drops, allowing you to gain experience much faster.
Also, don’t hesitate to use your daily harvests even if the resource doesn’t interest you, in order to progress as quickly as possible.

Influence

You may have noticed that by default, the maximum influence for a player is 700. This value can be increased through your gear.

There are two ways to obtain influence on your equipment.
Craft extensively and rely on luck,
Or save your silver coins and buy directly from the auction house.
Note that any piece of gear with a minimum amount of influence can sell for a very good price (generally between 200,000 and 300,000 silver for blue influence gear, and up to several million for legendary influence gear).

This is already the end of this article. I hope you enjoyed it. Don’t forget to give a thumbs up if you liked it, and subscribe if you want to follow the channel!
