Hey my zoulous and welcome to this new article.
In this article about Naraka Bladepoint, we are going to talk about the Qi Jade system.

What are Qi Jades

First of all, what are Qi Jades?

Qi Jades are items that are stored in your Qi Jade inventory and provide passive bonuses.

There are different rarities of jades, which are:
- Grey, the most common
- Blue,
- Purple
- Gold

In addition to rarity, there are also different types of jades, which are:

Types of Qi Jades

Attribute Jades

Attribute jades only affect your basic stats.
- Increased health
- Attack damage
- Melee damage resistance
- Ranged damage resistance, etc.

Special Jades

Special jades
These provide additional effects that activate on specific actions. For example, the Tu Na jade allows you to recover armor and health when using the rest emote, while the Storm Invocation jade creates a lightning strike on your enemy when you perform a dodge.

Melee and Ranged Jades

Melee and ranged jades
These are related to weapons and can modify certain combos or add additional effects when performing an action with that weapon. For example, the Dagger Vampire jade allows you to recover health on a counterattack, while the Meteor jade allows your cannon to no longer require managing the bell when firing.

Tips for using Qi Jades

Here are a few tips about jades.
Some weapon jades provide an effect for a specific weapon but also grant an attribute passive bonus. Analyze them carefully, as sometimes it can be more efficient to replace an attribute jade with a weapon jade that has a higher passive bonus—even if you are not using that weapon.

Second tip: attribute caps.
Indeed, there are caps for standard attributes. If the value of your Qi Jades exceeds the cap, any value beyond it will be wasted. You should therefore optimize as much as possible.

A useful indicator for this is the text color. If the text is yellow, you have reached the cap; if it is not yellow, you can still increase the stat in question.

Third tip: increasing the maximum number of Qi Jades
By default, you have 4 Qi Jade slots available, plus 2 that are locked. To unlock them, you will need to find or purchase Qi Jade bag upgrades from a merchant.
Try to obtain them quickly, as this is a real advantage.

*rixmome* Uh, that’s all well and good, but how do you actually find Qi Jades?

I’m getting to that—there are several ways.

How to obtain Qi Jades

- Green loot, which allows you to obtain multiple jades
- Merchants, who will drop random jades in exchange for Abyssal Coins
- Wells, which in exchange for another item can grant you jades
- Temples, after using an emote
- And of course, standard loot or even directly from the ground.
