Hi my zoulous and welcome to this new video on Conqueror’s Blade.
In this video, we are going to talk about a difficulty often encountered by new players: gear.

Choosing your weapon

First of all, the very first thing to do is to choose your weapon, as it is not easy to optimize several classes at once.

To do this, you can start by simply using the gear that the game gives you through quests or drops.

As a second step, you can use the donation NPC to obtain one armor of each type (light, medium, heavy) with 732 influence. At this point, I recommend trying out all the classes in the game to confirm your choice, knowing that the units you can play while being optimized for a class are different and will somewhat shape your progression.

Once your class is chosen, your first objective is to obtain influence on your armor. For information, the maximum influence per piece is 25, so you can theoretically reach 800 influence.

What is influence?

But you might ask, what is influence? Each unit in Conqueror’s Blade has an influence cost. By default, you have 700 influence, so you will add units until you reach the limit, or at least get as close as possible to it.

Let’s take an example. If I take a Reaper that costs 300 influence, I will have 400 influence left in my unit build. If I then add, for example, a Modao costing 310, I will only have 90 left.

However, if my gear has influence rolls—let’s assume you were lucky and reached 800 influence—then in the same example you would have 190 left, which allows you to add a higher-quality unit. This is why having influence on your armor is very important.

Progressing your gear

Let’s get back to the main topic: optimizing your gear progression.

There are essentially two craftable gear sets for each class.
The one crafted with blue schematics and the one crafted with purple schematics. (I am not talking about green schematics as they have no value—you can donate them.)

At first, focus on blue schematics, as purple schematics are quite difficult to obtain, especially early in your adventure.

So, go to the blacksmith, choose the armor type that fits your class (light, medium, heavy), and craft it.

No matter the rolls you get, what we are looking for is influence. What I recommend at first is to craft the pieces one by one until you obtain influence.

For example, you can start with the chest piece. As long as you don’t have influence, you can keep crafting.
Once you get influence—even a small roll—you move on to the next piece until you have influence on all four armor pieces. When you reach this milestone, check how much total influence you have.
Personally, I think you should aim for at least 760, and I would say that 780 is quite comfortable. It’s up to you, depending on your luck and motivation, whether you want to continue or move on to the next step.

Once you have done this, you will need to reforge your gear while locking the influence roll to avoid losing it. Reforged weapons and armor have better base stats, which is why you should at least reforge the four armor pieces plus your weapon.

Once you have enough influence and your gear is reforged,

The next step is exactly the same process for purple schematics. Generally, melee classes will look for resistance and health rolls in addition to influence in order to survive longer, while ranged classes will try to get additional damage rolls first, followed by health and resistance.

Upgrading your weapon

We mainly talked about armor, but you also need to pay attention to your weapon.

First, you must know the main damage type of your weapon: piercing, slashing, or blunt. To help with this, you can check the website denetax.fr to see the main damage types for a given weapon. Once you know what to focus on, you can go craft at the blacksmith.First step: try to get a high roll on penetration or damage for your weapon.

To know the maximum stats of a weapon, you can always click on maximum gains at the blacksmith. Once you have a roll close to the maximum, the strategy is to lock that stat during reforging and try to obtain the second stat. For example, if on a longbow I get close to the max roll in piercing penetration, I will lock that stat and try to get piercing damage.

In addition to these two very important stats, you can also get strength, armor, toughness, agility, and other stats that further optimize your weapon—but do this as a second step.

For example, if you have strength, it will increase your slashing and blunt damage by 6, as well as piercing penetration by 6. This must be taken into account when reforging your weapon.

Obtaining blue and purple schematics

Now that we have explained the overall strategy for upgrading your gear, let’s talk about how to obtain blue and purple schematics, as well as the other components needed for crafting.

First of all, you can obtain blue schematics through different methods:
- First method: the seasonal store in exchange for blades. To access it, press F5, then Seasonal Store.
- Second method: supply voucher exchange. For this, press O > Events, then Supply Voucher Exchange.
- Third method: the free and paid Battle Pass, accessible via F5, then Battle Pass.
- Fourth method: donations after reaching certain milestones. To access this, talk to the Renown Envoy, then Renown Store.
- And finally, the Imperial Store. To access it: O > Events > Imperial Store. Tokens are earned by participating in Territory Wars on Tuesday and Saturday from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

Now let’s move on to purple schematics.
You will find them in the Imperial Store, seasonal donations, and the Battle Pass, following the same mechanics as before—this represents 6 purple schematics per season.
In addition, ranked matches allow you to obtain 4 purple schematics per season: 2 by reaching Grand Champion and 2 through the ranked store. Basically, you just need to win ranked matches to get them.
Generally, there are events during the season that allow you to earn between 2 and 6 additional purple schematics.

Overall, you can obtain between 12 and 16 purple schematics per season if you complete all available activities.

Obtaining basic components

A quick point regarding the other components.
Each week, the trader offers silver powder and basic components for purchase in exchange for bronze coins. These are always worth picking up.

And for the rest, it’s basically what we already discussed: the Battle Pass, donations, the various imperial supply stores, etc.
