Hey my zoulous and welcome to this new video.
In this video, we’ll be talking more specifically about the different ways to obtain silver coins and the various ways they can be used.
Methods for obtaining silver coins
Method 1: Territory Wars
Indeed, you can earn silver coins by participating in Territory Wars on Tuesday and Saturday at 8:00 PM. To do so, you must:
- Participate in the capture of a fief (the amount earned will depend on your participation and the current silver coin stock of the fief).
To check the silver coin stock of a fief, simply open the map, view the fief overview, and look at the bottom right (if it’s still displayed on the map).
- Second option: defending a fief. If your house manages to hold one or more fiefs, you will receive a payout on Sunday morning based on the number of fiefs under your house’s banner at that time.
Method 2: The Auction House
The Auction House allows you to sell equipment pieces, resources, artillery, etc., in exchange for an amount of silver coins that you define beforehand.
Here are a few examples of ways to earn silver coins quickly:
- Selling technique pages. Technique pages usually range between 7,000 and 15,000 silver coins depending on the class, and can be obtained through Deathmatches, abandoned huts / forgotten crates, etc.
- Second example: gathering cart resources can also be a good method when based on nearby fief quests.
For example, if I know there is a 5-star quest in a given city requiring purple resources (which are therefore in high demand), I can simply farm that resource as much as possible to create scarcity, and potentially buy all the interesting offers for that resource at the Auction House, then list my stock at the maximum price to be as profitable as possible.
Method 3: Weekly quests
Let’s go back to earning methods with weekly quests.
You can find silver coins as rewards for certain weekly quests.
For example, the Battlefield III quest in the Warlord tab rewards an item called ‘Large Spoils of War’, containing roughly between 500 and 2,000 silver coins.
Method 4: Paid Battle Pass
By looking at the Season 3 Battle Pass, we can see that there are 12 silver chests that of course contain silver coins.
You will simply need to level up your season level to obtain them.
Method 5: Silver coin bags
You can also obtain silver coins through leather coin purses, which usually contain between 100 and 1,200 silver coins depending on their size.
You can obtain them by playing sieges or field battles, for example.
You can also find them in dilapidated huts, abandoned carts, etc.
Method 6: Rare resources
When gathering in the open world, you have a chance to obtain rare exotic resources.
For example, Amber can be obtained by gathering in sawmills and has a value of 1,000 silver coins.
Method 7: Vault rooms
Vault rooms contain between 2,000 and 4,000 silver coins.
They most often appear after completing a bandit camp, but sometimes vault rooms can also appear during sieges, field battles, etc.
To open a vault room, you will need keys.
To obtain these keys, you must complete weekly quests to reach milestones 50 / 100 / 150, which grant:
- 1 key at milestone 50
- 2 keys at milestone 100
- 4 keys at milestone 150
On top of that, you gain 2 additional keys at each milestone if you have a premium account.
Method 8: Creator packs
This method can be used only once per pack and allows you to obtain up to 30,000 silver coins per account.
You’ll find more information about this method at the end of this tutorial.
So great, now we know how to obtain silver coins—but what are they used for?
Uses of silver coins
Use 1: The Auction House
You can buy many items at the Auction House to complete fief quests, upgrade your gear, purchase technique scrolls, etc.
And for that, you’ll need silver coins.
Use 2: Hiring mercenaries
You can use your silver coins to hire mercenaries.
For example, the new Season 3 T1 units, the Martellatori, are more durable when pushing a tower, cost only 30 influence, and grant a bonus of 10% honor, 10% XP, and 10% bronze coins, and cost 700,000 silver coins.
Use 3: Buying artillery / consumables and resources
Various NPCs offer artillery, consumables, and resources in exchange for silver coins.
For example, the item “Cache Expansion” available from the Trader increases your stash size by 8 slots and costs 200,000 silver coins.
Use 4: Crafting
When you want to craft artillery, create supply kits, or refine resources,
you will also need silver coins for each new creation.
For example, if I want to create a Khorchin supply kit, I will need to spend 50 silver coins per kit.
Use 5: Emergency bronze coin replacement
If you run out of bronze coins, you can use silver coins as a fallback.
For example, if I go to the blacksmith and uncheck “Use bound materials and bronze coins”, I will spend silver coins instead.
