Hi my zulus, and welcome to this new article.
In this article, we are going to talk about the new crafting forge system introduced during the Eternal season.
Obtaining Crafting Stones
First of all, this new season introduces a new resource: “Crafting Stones.”
These stones are required to use the Crafting Forge system.
There are several ways to obtain them.
Battle Pass
First option: the Battle Pass.
You can collect 55 stones from the free Battle Pass and 85 stones from the paid Battle Pass of Season 15.
Donations
Second option: donations.
Indeed, each time you make a donation, you have a chance to obtain Crafting Stones by reaching the different milestones. In addition, if you accumulate enough Renown, you will be able to collect some from the Renown Shop at the 2000, 4000, 6000, and 9500 milestones, for a total of 45 stones.
Special Quests
Third option: Special quests.
It is also possible to obtain Crafting Stones individually through certain special quests, especially those related to the Crafting Forge.
Weekly Quests
Fourth option: Weekly quests.
Indeed, when you complete a weekly quest that rewards a chest, you often have a chance to obtain Crafting Stones, so don’t hesitate to complete all of them as much as possible.
Season Shop
Fifth option: the Season Shop.
If you have Blades available, you can exchange them for Crafting Stones, knowing that you can obtain 30 stones for 300 Blades.
Imperial Store
Sixth option: the Imperial Store.
By exchanging Triumphs, you will be able to obtain 25 stones for a cost of 50 Triumphs. Don’t hesitate to participate in
Territory Wars.
Events
Seventh option: Events.
At the time this article was written, there were two events: the Eternal login event and the Golden Dragon Exchange, which together granted a total of 24 Crafting Stones. Always keep an eye out for potential event rewards.
Sieges
Eighth option: Sieges.
It is quite rare, but it does happen—you can drop Crafting Stones in sieges. An interesting detail is that these stones are not bound, allowing you to reforge an item as unbound and potentially sell it afterward.
*Rixmome* Are you going to explain the forge system at some point, or do I have to wait longer?
Yes, yes, we’re getting there. Now that we’ve explained how to obtain the stones, let’s move on to the forge system.
Explanation of the Crafting Forge System
On the left side, you will find the classic crafting components as well as our famous stones. Keep in mind that crafting with a purple schematic will cost more materials than with a blue one.
At the bottom, you have the option to craft unbound items, which will allow you to eventually sell the weapon you obtain.
On the right side, you will find the weapons and armor that can be reforged.
And finally, in the center, the selected weapon with its current stats, as well as the chances of obtaining different rarities. Note that as long as you have not crafted a legendary item, the chance of obtaining legendary rarity increases with each attempt.
Differences Compared to the Classic Forge
Well, there are several.
Number of stats
First difference: the number of possible stats per rarity.
Indeed, when the crafted item is of rare quality (blue), you will have between 2 and 3 additional attributes. It will be 3 to 4 for epic, and finally 4 to 6 for legendary.
Locking a stat
Second difference: locking a stat.
You can lock a stat on your weapon or armor, ensuring that it will be kept during the next craft regardless of the rarity obtained. This is very useful for keeping, for example, your Influence or any other high roll.
By the way, if you want an idea of maximum rolls per weapon and rarity, you can visit the website
denetax, which lists the different rolls observed on the live server as well as the PTR.
The link can of course be found in the description.
Base stats
Let’s get back to our topic with the third difference: base stats.
You will notice that when you switch from classic crafted gear to reforged gear, the base stats are higher—so much so that it is not uncommon for a reforged blue item to be better than a classic legendary item.
So don’t hesitate to reforge all your gear for this occasion. Be careful: with the Eternal season, classic reconditioning has disappeared, so you will need to use the Crafting Forge to restore durability to your gear. Since stones are rare, always try to keep some in reserve or have a backup set of gear if you really run out of resources.
*Kharlor* Huuuuuuuuu, but I don’t want to lose my gear during the process.
No worries—if the newly reforged gear does not suit you, you can choose to keep your gear from before the craft.
New stats
Final difference: new stats.
For weapons, for example, in addition to the usual Strength, Agility, slashing, piercing, blunt damage, and their associated penetration, you can now obtain:
Two different critical stats that increase your critical chance and the damage you deal with critical hits.
Critical resistance, which reduces the damage you take from critical hits.
Armor.
And Toughness.
As for armor, you can also obtain slashing, piercing, and blunt penetration. This is already the end of this article. I hope you enjoyed it. Don’t forget the thumbs up if you liked it, and if you want to follow the channel, subscribe! I remind you that you can use the code
