Hey my Zoulous and welcome to this new video.
In this video we will explain the doctrine system as well as the new alchemy system added in season 14.

What is a doctrine?

To begin with, what is a doctrine?

Well, doctrines are additional bonuses that allow you to increase certain statistics of your units or even provide new skills.

There are 5 rarities of doctrines which are: grey / green / blue / purple / gold.
You can assign a maximum of 5 doctrines to a unit, knowing that they are only available at a certain level of the unit.
- Level 1 for the first
- Level 3 for the second
- Level 5 for the third
- Level 7 for the fourth
- Level 10 for the fifth

In addition, some doctrines are only intended for a given unit (For example, healers and their first aid doctrine) or others are assignable to a group of units, for example, crossbowman doctrines can only be assigned to the flag bearer, vanguard crossbowman and all units possessing a crossbow.

To assign a doctrine, go to the unit in question, click on the space to its right, and press and hold on the doctrine. Once this is done, simply equip it to your unit.

methods of obtaining doctrines

Now that we know what we're talking about, let's move on to the methods for obtaining doctrines.

The treaties or ancient treaties.

The first method of obtaining doctrines was through treaties or ancient treaties

Conqueror Blade war theorist

Indeed, you can obtain doctrines through excavations in exchange for treaties or ancient treaties.
You will simply need to select the desired excavation and click on exploration or massive excavation (note that there is no particular impact to mass use other than consuming your treaties more quickly)
If you want to know which excavation yields which doctrine, you can go to the tool for excavations

Note that you will inevitably get a purple doctrine every 10 single attempts or every mass attempt.

*rixmome* Yeah, that's all cool, but how do we get treaties then?

I was just about to get to that! So there are several methods

Obtaining treaties or ancient treaties.

Weekly quests.
Conqueror Blade weekly quests

The first one is the weekly quests.
Indeed, for each weekly quest completed, you will earn battle points. At milestones 25, 50, 100, and 150, you will receive treaties as a reward.
Battle pass.
The second method of obtaining treaties is the battle pass.
Indeed, progressing through the battle pass will allow you to obtain treaties directly or via guild gifts.
Weekly challenges.

Third method: weekly challenges.
You can obtain guild gifts at each stage of the weekly challenges, which can give you treaties.
Ranked battles
Fourth method: ranked battles

Indeed, you can earn treaties by reaching the ranks of Brawler, Slayer, and Imperial Hero in Ranked Battles.

Fifth method: Login rewards
You also have the option of obtaining treaties through daily connections. To do this, you must reach three milestones: 7 days, 14 days, and 21 days within the month.

Sixth method: GvG rewards
To do this you will need to participate in territory wars and obtain triumphs which can be exchanged for treaties.
Events
Seventh method: events.
Conqueror's Blade sometimes awards treaties through events. This is notably the case during the video with the Scorpio exchanges and the Scorpio connection.
Seasonal shop
Eighth method: the seasonal shop.

You also have the option to obtain treaties from the seasonal shop in exchange for blades.
Dons de saison
donation rewards

Ninth method: seasonal donations!
It is also possible to obtain treaties and doctrines through the renown shop. To do this, you will need to make weekly donations to the associated NPC in order to reach the desired levels.
Doctrine Recycling
Tenth false method: the recycling of doctrine.

Indeed, by pressing X and then selecting Recycling, you have the option to recycle your doctrines and exchange the resulting currency for treaties. Do not do this under any circumstances! With the new alchemy system, this method is obsolete.

Doctrinal Alchemy

With a perfect transition, let's now talk about doctrinal alchemy, which is the second method for obtaining doctrines.

The first thing to consider before starting anything is the table of different tiers, which shows the various drop possibilities.
table of probability doctrinal alchemy

As a reminder, each doctrine has an associated value depending on its rarity.
- Grey: 2
- Green: 5
- Blue: 10
- Violet: 50

Now that we know that, let's look at the tiers. First rule: regardless of the tiers, always try to be in the lower range for a given tier.

Karlor : Uhhh, I didn't understand. Do you have an example?

Of course, let's say I put in 4 purple doctrines and 4 blue doctrines. I would then have a total of 4x50 + 4x10, which makes 240. If we look at the table, 240 falls between 200 and 299.
So I've lost 40 power points. A possible optimization would simply be to remove a purple one and replace it with a blue one. This would bring me exactly to 200 and allow me to benefit from the same drops, which in this specific case are a 60% chance of getting a purple T2 doctrine, 30% for a T3, and 10% for a T4.

Note another rule to consider. To create a doctrine through alchemy, you will always need to have 8 doctrines, so it's beneficial to have all types of doctrines to best complete your build.

An interesting fact to know: you have the option to use Pure Wisdom, which will triple the current value of your doctrines. Be careful to use it only on high-level alchemies to maximize the effect.

One small mechanic to keep in mind: when the bar at the bottom of the screen is fully loaded, the next generated doctrine will always be a purple Tier 5 doctrine, regardless of what you've committed. Therefore, try to always equip low-level doctrines at this point to optimize your drops.

*rixmome* Hey, tell me, I have some doctrines that do nothing, can you tell me what they're good for ?

Oh yes, I almost forgot, you're talking about Wisdoms. These items will allow you to replace a true doctrine in doctrinal alchemy. They come in several rarities, which are:
- Decent
- Rare
- Epic
If you have them, try to use them as much as possible rather than the real doctrines.

*Kharlor* So which level do you recommend?
craft optimize alchemy

In my opinion, the first tier at 16 will allow you to get rid of your grey doctrines and obtain either blue or purple doctrines that will be useful to you later.

Next, we have tier 60, which will guarantee you purple doctrines for a cost that remains low.

Finally, level 400 will grant you Tier 5 doctrines. It's also at this level that I recommend using your pure wisdom to reach level 1200, which guarantees you either a Tier 4 or a Tier 5 doctrine. That's the end of this article, I hope you enjoyed it. Don't forget to give it a thumbs up if you liked it, and subscribe to the channel if you want to follow the channel! As a reminder, you can use the code ZYX515 to access some in-game benefits for new players, or ZYL515 for players who haven't launched the game in the last month.
