Hello my zoulous et welcome for this new video on Naraka Bladepoint.
Today we’re going to explain how glyphs work, suggest commonly used builds, and look at mistakes to avoid.
Unlocking Glyphs
First of all, how do you unlock glyphs?
The talent menu where you will find glyphs is unlocked once your account reaches level 6.
You will then progressively unlock new glyph slots as your account level increases.
Each slot has 5 possible passive upgrades. By default, out of these 5 upgrades, 2 are unlocked at the start and 3 are locked.
To unlock them, simply click on the upgrade you want and spend Tae.
Glyph Level
In addition, glyphs also have levels. By default, they start at level 1.
Once you have chosen your build, make sure to upgrade their levels using Tae to maximize their effectiveness.
Glyph Categories
You may have noticed that glyphs are divided into 4 different categories.
We have:
- Origin glyphs in red
- Lunar glyphs in purple
- Solar glyphs in blue
- And Omni glyphs in green
When it comes to distribution, a common mistake is using the auto-distribution button at the bottom right. This button will distribute points based on the glyphs you have unlocked, giving bonuses in a bit of every area. This is quite convenient for beginners but quickly becomes obsolete for players who want to invest more seriously.
Build Suggestions
Although glyphs partly depend on the hero and the player, there are several general trends that stand out.
Glyphs: Full Stamina Build
The full stamina build with:
- 6 Spirits in red
- 6 Agilities in purple
- 6 Spirits in green
- And finally 6 Quickness in blue (since blue runes do not offer stamina, we opted for cooldown reduction)
This build obviously focuses on stamina, allowing you to dodge more often and therefore improve survivability.
Glyphs: Mixed Stamina and Rage Build
The mixed stamina and rage build
- 6 Ferocities in red
- 6 Agilities, or if you want even more rage, 6 Enragements in purple.
- 6 Spirits in green
- 6 Quickness in blue
This build allows you to gain your ultimate faster. If stamina is not an issue for you, this is a perfectly viable option.
Glyphs: Full Luck Build
The full luck build
- 6 Energetics in red
- 6 Agilities in purple
- 6 Miracles in blue
- 6 Spirits in green
Clearly, with this build, your goal is to gear up quickly in order to gain a gear advantage. From my personal experience, I find it rather inefficient because even without it you can reach good gear relatively quickly, while losing cooldown reduction, stamina, or rage, all of which are very important in combat.
Once again, all the builds presented here are meant to give you some guidance, but they are fairly generic. Depending on the character or even the player, you will adjust them to suit your own needs.
Glyph Pages
To make glyph page management easier, there is a general page that will be applied by default to all heroes you play. You can then unlock 2 additional pages, once again using Tae or Gold, in order to customize glyphs for specific heroes.
