Expedition and Amitoï Throne and Liberty

Hey my zoulous and welcome to this new video on Throne and Liberty.
In this video, we are going to talk about one of the game’s professions that is sometimes forgotten but still very useful: expeditions!

First of all, what is an expedition in Throne and Liberty?
An expedition consists of sending Amitoi, which are companions that you unlock throughout your adventures, for a fixed duration of 1 hour or 8 hours.

Once completed, these expeditions allow you to obtain useful components, for example for cooking, crafting in general, and other aspects of the game.

Before you can start doing expeditions, you will need to complete the quest “Expedition Adventures”. Once this is done, there are several ways to access the Amitoi House depending on your platform.

For PC players, simply click on the Amitoi icon above your skill bar. This will automatically teleport you there.

For Xbox players, the LT button does the same thing, and for PlayStation players it is L2.

To leave the Amitoi House, there are two options: either use the usual return skill, or click the exit door icon located at the top right of your screen.

Let’s go into more detail about the expedition interface.

Once the interface is open, on the left side you will find the different available expeditions. Each expedition has a required expedition level as well as its own specific drops. To unlock new expeditions, you must increase your expedition level.

On the right side, you will find the Amitoi you have already unlocked. Each Amitoi has a terrain specialty. When you select Amitoi for an expedition, an arrow will appear to indicate that the selected Amitoi is optimized for that expedition. You should of course try to send the most suitable Amitoi possible in order to obtain maximum rewards.

Once the Amitoi are selected, you will need to choose the expedition duration. I recommend choosing the duration based on your availability in order to maximize your rewards and avoid having to return to your base too often.

Another interesting question: how do you obtain Amitoi?
Well, there are several ways.
A significant number can be obtained simply by completing side quests.
They can sometimes be obtained as Twitch drop rewards, so don’t hesitate to check from time to time if drops are active. While I’m at it, I invite you to follow the Denetax Twitch channel, which you can find in the video description.
Other Amitoi can be obtained through gathering, dungeon rewards, or boss rewards.

To find out where and how you can obtain a specific Amitoi, simply open the Amitoi menu, go to the Summon List tab, then click on the help bubble at the top right of the panel. You will then see the method for obtaining that Amitoi.

Beyond the collection aspect and expedition optimization, obtaining different Amitoi allows you to gain passive EXP bonuses, Sollant bonuses, Abyss Contract Token bonuses, mastery bonuses, and other interesting effects. It is therefore very useful for optimizing your character to collect Amitoi as quickly as possible.
