Hi my zoulous and welcome to this new article.
In this video, we are going to talk about esports in Conqueror's Blade, and more specifically about the CB Rival league.
What is CB Rival?
First things first, what is CB Rival?
CB Rival is a set of community leagues created by Seabee where the best Conqueror’s Blade teams compete against each other.
At the time I am recording this video, CBR has two leagues.
The Rustic league, for new teams.
And the Feudal league, for the most experienced teams.
Each team will face every other team in its group once. Of course, once all matches have been played, the best-performing teams in Rustic will move up to the higher division, while the lowest-performing teams in Feudal will be relegated.
You can watch the different matches live on the official CBR Twitch channel for Feudal matches, or through various streamers for the Rustic league.
I will put the different Twitch links in the description so you can follow the competition.
If you missed a match, you can also watch the replays on the CB Rivals League YouTube channel.
How to participate in CB Rival?
As a player
You can of course participate yourself as a player if you wish.
You have the option to register a team of at least 20 players, up to a maximum of 25.
Or you can join the
CBR Discord and indicate in the looking-for-team channel that you are searching for a team.
You will of course need to provide several important pieces of information:
- Your armor type (Heavy / Medium / Light)
- Your available influence
- Your account level
- The classes you play
- And potentially your preferred language
However, if you do not wish to participate as a player but still want to be involved in the CBR community, there are several options available to you.
As an organizer
- Caster: Your role will be to commentate matches; of course, a minimum level of game knowledge is required.
- Recorder: Here the focus is on recording battles; the only requirement is being able to capture good footage and having equipment capable of recording in good quality.
CB Rival rewards
Of course, tournaments mean rewards. During Season 3 of CB Rivals, rewards ranged from 200 Sovereigns per person for last place in Rustic up to 1500 Sovereigns for first place in Feudal, along with other cosmetic items.
CB Rival rules
Regarding the rules, they are very simple:
- No artillery allowed
- Unit save and ban 60 minutes before the match
- All doctrines and runes are allowed
- 1 win = 2 points / 1 draw = 1 point / 1 loss = 0 points
- It is possible to change team members during the season
- A player can only belong to one team at a time
Of course, these rules may evolve; they are only valid at the time I am recording this video.
CB Rival schedule
Regarding match times, they take place on Sundays from 6 PM to 11 PM. Each team is assigned a one-hour time slot.
As for training sessions, most teams play between 1 and 6 matches per week, but you are free to find a pace that suits you.
Conclusion
In conclusion, CBR can be considered the endgame of Conqueror’s Blade, as it requires combining global strategy, precise mechanics, charismatic leadership, and consistent players, which naturally results in very high-level matches.
