The Halberdier Sergeants have the ability to inflict heavy damage on an enemy setup when the unit is anchored. In most cases, the formation to use is F2 (tight formation). Generally, this unit should be covered by a shield or other infantry because it has many counters. It is not really suited to countering cavalry, although in certain situations it can halt some of them. The charge it possesses can only be used to deal damage if you have the associated mastery. It allows you to deliver 3 devastating blows if the units are well grouped.
